Housing
SLC 2024 will be hosted at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center located on MSU's campus. The Kellogg offers integrated delegate housing, conference spaces, and dining options.

2 people per room. Some single rooms are available at an increased rate (unless part of accommodations plan).

Accessible rooms are available, featuring wider doors, a roll-in shower, and lowered peepholes, shelves, and temperature control. These rooms will be available to delegates on request.


Dining

The Kellogg employs a team of talented caterers that celebrate ingredients local to the Lansing Area. They will cater opening and closing ceremonies and provide continental breakfast.

Other meals will be served in Brody Square, the dining hall inside Brody Hall, located across the street from the Kellogg. Download the MSU Mobile App from the iOS or Android App Store to view menus and allergen information of all MSU dining facilities.

All dietary needs will be accommodated. Halal, vegan, and vegetarian meals are available in every dining hall. MSU dining halls provide signage informing if a meal contains any of the following ingredients: egg, fish, shellfish, chicken, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, wheat, beef, pork, coconut, gelatin, or alcohol.

Conference activities will take place in buildings providing all-gender restrooms whenever possible. The Kellogg Center has a multistall all-gender restroom on the Garden Level. See ispm.msu.edu/locations/single-occupancy-restrooms for a map of all-gender restrooms.

Quiet spaces will be available for delegates needing a break from conference activities.
Travel

Flying
Two airports are available for flying into conference: Capital Region International Airport (LAN) or the Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW). If flying in to DTW, check out the Michigan Flyer bus line for traveling between East Lansing and Detroit.

Train
The Capital Area Multimodal Gateway is a train station located in East Lansing featuring Amtrak trains, and is especially convenient for those coming from the Chicago area. If traveling by train, contact Cameron Lochrie (rha.ncc@msu.edu) to arrange shuttle services to the conference center from the train station.
Safety
The SafeMSU app has a variety of features to support the safety of anyone on MSU's campus, including the ability to share your location with a friend, request rides through CATA Night Owl, and contact emergency services. It is available on iOS and Android.
Bright green outdoor emergency phones are all over campus. Green phones have a button to contact 911, as well as a keypad to dial any on-campus number.
